Clár an tSamhraidh / Summer Programme
Is am fíor-ghnóthach é an samhradh do Glór Cheatharlach le Clár lán d’imeachtaí do dhaoine óga de gach aois ghrúpa. Tá Campa Samhraidh do pháistí bunscoile ag dul ar aghaidh le blianta anuas anois agus i 2009 cuireadh go mór leis an gClár trí Mini Campa a chur ar fáil do pháistí níos óige agus Coláiste Samhraidh a reachtáil do dhaltaí iarbhunscoile. Bíonn deis ag daoine óga sult agus spraoi a bhaint as an teanga trí pháirt a glacadh ins na himeachtaí éagsúla a bhíonn ar siúl i mBaile Cheatharlach i rith laethanta saoire an tSamhraidh.
Summer is an extremely busy time for Glór Cheatharlach with a full programme of events for young people of all age groups. A Campa Samhraidh for primary school children has been running successfully for many years now and in the Summer of 2009 the Summer Programme was expanded to include a Mini Campa for younger children and a Coláiste Samhraidh for secondary school students. The new style summer programme now offers young people in Carlow the opportunity to enjoy the language and have fun through Irish by taking part in the various events and activities run during the school holidays.
